Event Description:

We are excited to announce our November 4 meeting that will focus on the Arts in New Orleans. It will take place at the Ashe Center in their beautifully renovated space at 1712 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.

Our guest speakers will be representing the Arts Council New Orleans, YaYa, Where Y’Art, and Ashe’ Cultural Arts Center. With art and culture being at the core of our great city’s existence, we know you all will enjoy learning about the role of these organizations in leading and supporting the arts and the artists that are so vital to our identity.

We will have red & white wine, free of charge – at the event, and a wine hour from 5:30pm-6pm, with dinner by Chef Gary Netter of Next to Eat who also serves as the Culinary Ambassador for the city of New Orleans where his mission is to promote and improve cultural diversity, equity, inclusion, and health & wellness citywide in the hospitality industry. The panel will begin after guests have served from the buffet, and will run from approximately 6:15pm-7:30pm – there will be ample opportunity for Q&A and audience interaction!

There is a dedicated parking lot directly adjacent to the left of the building and ample parking along the block. In addition, a security guard will be on site from 5:30-8:30pm to escort members to vehicles as requested. Please RSVP by October 30 to secure your spot- if you RSVP and do not make the event, there will be a $25 charge – guest fees are $15 – please invite your friends!
