This year marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment which gave women the right to vote. Join us and learn about this fascinating history as Libby Neidenbach guides us through The Historic New Orleans Collection’s online exhibition Yet She is Advancing: New Orleans Women and the Right to Vote, 1878-1970. Neidenbach, curator of the exhibition, will share stories of the struggle for suffrage locally and how black women continued to fight for voting rights long after the passage of 19th amend
